Sous Vide Roast


I made a roast in the sous vide cooker. It was a Inside Round, about 3lbs. I coated with a rub then vacuum sealed it. I cooked for 24h at 54C (129F). After removing from the bag and patting dry, I placed it in a 350F oven for 15 minutes, turning half way.

3lb Beef Roast
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tbsp rosemary
1/2 tbsp good soy sauce
1 tsp smoked paprika
1/2 tsp ground mustard
1/2 tsp onion powder
2 tsp salt
1/2 tsp ground pepper

I kept the juices to use as au jus, but there wasn’t nearly enough.
