March 13th, 2009. Day Three
Yesterday we visited the beach at low tide. This morning we hurried out and compared with high tide. (and did some “Habitat” science homework while we were at it!)
Continuing the homework, we headed to the Acuario where we saw the Sea Lion show, the Bird show, the Aviary and the wonderful new aquarium. (it was under construction last year)
After a swim in the pool (can’t miss a day… it’s my daughter’s goal to swim every day!), dad took us out for an “expensive” supper. ($15/plate is expensive at the Machado.) Afterwards, my daughter made a bead butterfly (Mariposa) at a craft table at the Machado.
